La segunda edición del Curso Internacional de Guitarra Clásica está siendo dirigida por el laureado maestro de origen cubano René Izquierdo, graduado en el Conservatorio Superior de Arte en La Habana (Cuba) y en la Universidad de Yale (EE. UU.), y profesor de la Universidad de Milwakee-Wisconsin (EE. UU.). También contará con la colaboración de Raphaëlla Smits, una prestigiosa artista procedente del Instituto Lemmens, de Bélgica.

Moonrise and Music

Federico has promised he will take more photos at the concerts, but he’s been quite a busy man, preparing the entire scope of the CaminoArtes program with the indispensable Carmen González Zapata at his side. For those of you lucky enough to walking the Camino this summer, here is the lovely moonrise, from the edge of the town. Sights like this become common in the beautiful stretch between Burgos and León, in the middle of which sits Carrión, home to the artists participating in the program.
